"This proves once again that the New Hampshire primary matters, it matters a lot. The [Ron] Paul showing is interesting because I think he, it is perhaps a closer second that many of us thought he would achieve. But I, I continue to believe -– and I think most observers do -– that he has got about as much a chance of being nominated as RuPaul would, and so I don't think, you know all he does is block the others from any real effort to overtake Romney." -Brit Hume, last night on Fox News.
I think that this is a fantastic example of how mainstreamy Republicans routinely brush-off Ron Paul as a fringe candidate... that he is somehow 'as strange and unelectable' as someone like RuPaul.
