R.I.P. Sony Walkman

...which, as you know, is the much older Jewish brother of the Apple iPod.
After selling more than 200,020,000 units, Sony is finally pulling the plug on the cassette-based Walkman. Personally, I was surprised to find that they were still being made.

Note: To put that sales number into context, Apple has sold some 260,000,000 iPods worldwide.
I think that I still have a cassette version of the Walkman somewhere -- though admittedly it is very likely a knock-off (not the Sony brand).

However, I do currently use a Sony Walkman mp3 player, so I haven't missed a beat. Yet.
