Tom Corbett's New Ad In Pennsylvania

I've been looking into the two major races in Pennsylvania lately.

The first is the race to replace Governor Ed Rendell. The candidates, Republican Tom Corbett and Democrat Dan Onorato.

The video above is Corbett's first ad, and I have to say that I'm impressed. It's not a dark, PANIC!!!-styled attack-ad against Onorato. Rather, Corbett is simply defending his promise to not raise taxes in Pennsylvania, and talking about the reactions that his promise garnered from top Democrats.

Personally, I would love it if Corbett didn't raise taxes in Pennsylvania. BUT, I have to admit that making such a promise is highly reminiscent of "read my lips..."
