I found one!
Last week I published a post that OUTRAGED some liberal friends of mine stating that I haven't seen one major accomplishment of the Obama administration that has made American stronger or safer. Another blogger tried to point out some steps the President is taking...but alas I stick by my post that there really hasn't been much "change" from this most transparent government. But...I finally found a grand accomplishment.
With the help of all but 44 Democrats and about all Republicans...the House passed this cap and tax...whoops...cap and trade bill that will die in the Senate because some Democratic Senators have common sense enough to stop it. I didn't like McCain's cap and tax proposal and I especially don't like this one. Why would we think that China would do the same as us to keep us on a level playing field in the business community? Maybe my "hippie everyone loves each other and will do the right things" friends would think so... but common sense would tell us otherwise.
And I can not wait for the downfall of the Democratic party with this Hillary Care 2 plan they are gonna roll out later this year. If you think the government would keep a public plan on the same playing field as a private investor (so that we wouldn't eventually ALL go to a public plan which is what these radicals want anyway)... can we remember the auto bailout? The union got 55% of Chrysler and then Obama used $50 MILLION... err BILLION... of our money to help prop it up... and it is destined to fail again.
Those of you "small government" people who voted for Obama should be OUTRAGED that instead of going to the middle (like he campaigned on)... he has gone back to his leftist ways (like his voting record showed us but nobody would believe it because the "Chosen One" told us otherwise and some of YOU believed him).
