You'd better watch yourself Palin:"Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me….I'll tell you, yesterday the Anchorage Daily News, they called again to ask — double-, triple-, quadruple-check — who is Trig's real mom,” she said, in an interview to be published in the magazine’s March issue.
I'm not saying that we bloggers are all good (because we're not all good), but if you keep generalizing everybody into one lump like that, you may just call down some thunder.
“And I said, Come on, are you kidding me? We're gonna answer this? Do you not believe me or my doctor? And they said, No, it's been quite cryptic the way that my son's birth has been discussed. And I thought, Okay, more indication of continued problems in the world of journalism."
But Palin said she had adopted a philosophical attitude on the downside of the spotlight. "You have to let it go,” she said. “Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go."
I may be anonymous (to most of my readers), but I'm definitely not bored or pathetic. And for the record, I could give a sh*t who is the 'real' mother of Trig. I'm just so overwhelmingly pleased that this woman is not the VPOTUS.
Head nod to OB who pointed the article out to me. He comments:She seems like an attack machine, if the Republican party want her as the face of the party than it only appears to be more of the same.
Um, what?
My friend who sits next to me at work knows her and her family. He's from Alaska and lived in Wasilla, he has ZERO respect for her. He calls her 'The Dullard'.

Look, we of the Blogosphere may not always be correct. We may not always air our opinions in the most professional way. But, you can bet your sweet Weblog Award that we are not going anywhere anytime soon. Governor Palin can whine and complain about us 'bored, anonymous, pathetic' types -- but the bad news for her is that we'll scrutinize her every move even moreso than before.
So... good luck with that Sarah Palin.

Something in me hopes she looses the next Governor's race up there or chooses not to run. If she does run in 2010, the media is going to have a field day worse than they are having now.
She's pickin a fight with the wrong bunch. The media is one thing... The average nerd in pajamas is another.
