A Long, Strange Trip (But Fun!)
What a (long) weekend.
Friday: Long trip to Philadelphia (sorry Diddy), followed by a long -- but enjoyable -- evening at the Please Touch Museum. If you have kids and live anywhere within a couple hours' drive of Philly, it'll be worth your trip. Some images (click to enlarge):

Tons of stuff to do with the kids. Some of it a little messy, all of it a lot of fun.
The only problem is/was that both of my kids have colds. Normally, that is a minor issue, but seeing as how we spent the night in Philadelphia in a hotel -- all of us in the same room -- I received very little sleep. Despite being exhausted from our days' activities, I could not rest due to the constant coughing, hacking and wheezing from my children. Ugh.
Saturday: After having had very little sleep, the family woke up and hit the road. We stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Harrisburg (mmm... pancakes) and then continued on our way home.We were back in the 'T' by lunchtime -- to find that the Pajama Father and Brother are waiting to take me out for and early-birthday-movie-and-dinner (Bond and Damon's). Sweet. If you haven't seen Quantum of Solace, it's well worth your money. I have been anticipating this flick for months -- and it was SOOO worth it. Casino Royale was a really great movie, and QoS picks up right where Royale left off. If I have time later this week, I might even type-up a movie review for it.
Awesome.
Sunday and Monday: Packing. Boxes, boxes and more boxes. Seriously. Between the Pajama Wife and myself, I think that we're doing a great job packing up the house. The problem is that our staging areas (rooms that we've designated for keeping our packed belongings until 'move-day') are getting pretty full. I will be the first to admit that I am excited about our move -- but packing definitely does NOT excite me. The PJ Wife took yesterday off to continue to work around the house (she has also taken next Monday too). This is the sad explanation for my lack of posts yesterday.
The extremely GOOD news is that we have crunched the numbers and, despite a pay-cut, we will still be able to afford high-speed Internet in our new town. This means all the Pajama Pundit that you can sink your teeth into. Yay.
So, that about brings you up to speed. I had a great extended weekend -- and I hope that things continue to go smoothly with the move. As always, I will keep you all posted.
