TO: Diddy, RE: Media Bias

The last time I checked, B-Diddy had his conservative panties in a bunch (or do they wear pantaloons or something?) over the grave media injustices at MSNBC. Right.

Anyway, I found an interesting point-of-view from a conservative blogger:

Surprisingly, though, MSNBC.com was neutral to favorable with its headlines posted this afternoon.
Now, this author is talking about the websites of the various media outlets. But, this goes to bolster a point that I want to make.

It's not the networks that are 'biased' -- it's the commentators.

Take MSNBC for example (since the Diddy is sooo upset by them). Lefties: Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews (I would contest that notion, but I'll give BD the benefit of the doubt here) and who else? I think that's about it (correct me if I'm wrong here).

While Joe Scarborough is not enough to counteract the leftward leanings of the aforementioned commentators, what gets lost in the 'liberal' argument is that all day long MSNBC delivers the news. Unbiased by comment.

At least until prime-time.

This space is designed for thoughtful commentary on politics and media (and whatever else comes to mind). The Pajama Pundit welcomes people from all political stripes to voice opinions freely and without fear of mean-spirited attacks. He does however expect intelligent discussion -- and some understanding of proper grammar usage.
