Hasn't anyone noticed that the entire population of the state of Alaska is 670,053 (according to 2006 government records)? That is roughly the size of Harrisburg, the capital city of Pennsylvania.

Here is a quote from Rove on August 29th on Fox News about why Governor Sarah Palin is a good pick:
“She’s a populist, she’s an economic and social conservative, she’s a reformer. She’s a former mayor, she was the mayor, I think, of the second largest city in Alaska, before she ran for governor.”
Here is another quote from Rove on August 10th when Governor Tim Kaine was on Obama’s short list:
“He’s been a governor for three years. He was the mayor of the 105th largest city in America. And again, with all due respect to Richmond, Virginia, it’s smaller than Chula Vista, CA, Aurora, CO, Mesa or Gilbert, AZ, North Las Vegas or Henderson, NV. It is not a big town. So if you were to pick Governor Kaine it would be an intensely political choice where he said you know what, I’m really not first and foremost concerned with is this person capable of being President of the United States.”
Thank you Jon Stewart...
Karl Rove also told Hannity and Colmes last night that Sarah Palin was a political choice...acknowledging that it was a good choice but a political choice.
Whether it was a political choice or not, the key to that quote from WAY BACK WHEN on August 10th, is this:
"...I’m really not first and foremost concerned with is this person capable of being President of the United States.”
Everything these people (D's and R's) do is political, that's not the argument.
