Former Senator Fred Thompson (R-Tn) has been teasing the GOP for several months now - making most Republicans wonder aloud, "Geez, is this guy going to run for the presidency or what?"
While many have touted Thompson as the "savior" for the Republican party - referring to the lackluster support of the current crop of candidates - it seems that Ole Freddy has not raised as much campaign cash as first anticipated.
I would like to point out that the three million dollars that he HAS raised was in just under one month's time - and he hasn't officially announced his candidacy yet. I'd say that's not too shabby from where I'm sitting.
But he still has a long way to go to reach the numbers that Giuliani and Romney are putting up - not to mention the Democrats, who are simply pummeling the Republican candidates in campaign fund raising.
